Great comparison, although in the car world, the automatic to manual transition saddens me.

Trailer Fail: Clash of the Titans
Saw a movie the other night, in which the trailer for the upcoming Clash of the Titans movie was previewed – what a let down.
a) The trailer direction sucked.
b) No flow – not even sure if there was music (I’m sure there was), but it definitely didn’t flow with the trailer, or add anything to it. To draw comparison, when I saw the teaser trailer for Watchmen, the first thing I HAD to...

Realism in UI Design →
I found this quite interesting, and hadn’t heard of Lukas Mathis before.
I’m also super jealous of his living situation:
“I live in a small cottage in a remote part of the Swiss Alps”

One of the best drifting videos I’ve seen. Great cinematography, and great drifting. Editing using Final Cut Express.
Can’t wait for summer!

My Home Screen on First & 20
When Tory Hobson asked if I’d like to be featured on First & 20 I jumped at the opportunity. Didn’t realize I’d end up writing a short novel, but it was fun ;)

Indie+Relief
Today Marketcircle will donate all proceeds from Billings Mac sales to Doctors Without Borders.
A big thanks to Indie+Relief for setting this up this donation event. They’ve gone out on a limb to bring developers together to help Haiti in this time of crisis.
You can read more about Marketcircle’s participation here.

Great Examples of Pricing Tables →
Some great examples of well designed pricing tables.
With pricing it’s important to:
clearly define the benefits for each product range
allow the user to easily identify dollar amounts
present this data in a user friendly manner
ensure your buyer buys the product that suits them best (you don’t want refunds, pricing complains, or the bad press involved in too much up-selling)

Apple Loves Billings
Apple’s featured Billings Mac on the Apple Downloads homepage (as well as being the featured application in the Business & Finance Downloads section).
Billings Touch is featured in the “New and Noteworthy” section in iTunes, and is featured under “Featured > New” in the mobile App Store.
It’s a great day for all of us @ Marketcircle.
Thanks...
