Review: The Art of FLIGHT
I saw The Art of FLIGHT last night at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto.
I had previously mentioned that:
This looks to be the Planet Earth of snowboarding films.
That was pretty spot on.
The cinematography, post-production, and overall film-making quality was exceptional. Better than a lot of major motion pictures.
The scenic locations were breathtaking, the snowboarding mind-boggling, and the narration surprisingly deep. And the Red Bull helicopters were awesome.
My only complaint was the sound track – I expected more. Some cool music from M83 and the awesome single “Young Blood” by The Naked and Famous kept it together though.
It’s worth seeing on the big screen, but if it’s not playing in your city or you can’t wait, you can get it on iTunes now.
Even if you have absolutely no interest in snowboarding (or skiing for that matter), you’ll still enjoy this.
Check out the trailer if you still haven’t seen it.
